Yes it does smell odd...but that's not the point, we don't make out with Amy (although i did try it once and it was gross....to anyone wondering) so we shouldn't be worried about the smell. It's a very unique smell...hard to describe. I guess somewhat like silicone plastic ??? if that helps...????
Anyway, they give you UR3 powder (a refresher powder) that we are suppose to generously apply onto any UR3 product after every use or washing...I let him take care of the washing's so no info on that.
All in all a great toy for the price only issue is that as others have stated the shaft part is too short if your man is well endowed and the head of his cock will constantly threaten to break through with moderate to rough play. He did mention that this can cause it to become sore so beware.

Only issue is durability. I've ordered about 10 of these things over the year. Depending on how you store them they average around 2-3 months with daily usage.
